Trioplast has, as part of the aim to continuously reduce the impact on the environment, partly switched to renewable energy in the company's production units. The conversion of plastic products is a relatively energy-intensive activity, and the change to renewable energy therefor comes with a very positive environmental impact. The transition to a carbon-free energy reduces emissions from the Trioplast Group with 35.000 MT of COper year.

In addition to the fact that there’s a direct environmental impact by this active choice of renewable energy, we are also proud to contribute to the development and deployment of renewable energy investments that help us build a long-term sustainable society.

With this transition Trioplast uses energy sources that are naturally renewed. These include wind power, solar power derived from the Sun's radiation and hydro power. Renewable energy that is produced with as little environmental impact as possible, as it is not associated with high carbon emissions.
